- Review and implement HSE policies to ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Regularly assess workplace risks and hazards, implementing control measures to mitigate risks.
- Monitor adherence to health, safety, and environmental laws and standards.
- Perform regular inspections and audits to ensure safety measures are effective.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, analyze root causes, and develop prevention strategies.
- Develop and implement training programs for employees, contractors, and sub-contractors on safety practices and emergency procedures.
- Oversee emergency response plans and ensure site preparedness.
- Maintain detailed records of safety incidents, audits, risk assessments, and training.
- Ensure effective HSE communication and conduct HSE meetings and site walkarounds.
- Promote a strong safety culture within the worksite.
- Provide regular reports to management on HSE performance and areas of concern.
- Engineering principles related to HSE, knowledge of HSE regulations, risk management, and hazard identification.
- Data analysis for safety metrics, root cause analysis, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Leading HSE projects, managing resources, handling multiple safety concerns, and continuous improvement.
Qualification- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, familiar with on-site operations, previous experience in UAE/GCC.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- NEBOSH International/National General Certificate, OSHAD Registration Card.
- English proficiency is mandatory.
